Philip Stephens has taught English, geometry, and theatre arts for more than twenty-five years. He graduated from George Mason University with a BA in English Literature (Concentration in Medieval and Renaissance Literature). He has published many short poems, but he is primarily interested in longer form poetry. In 2022 he published his verse translation of Cyrano de Bergerac. He lives in Bristow, Virginia, with his lovely wife Emily and their three wonderful children: Isabel, Emma, and Maze.
